After some initial team brainstorming and planning I began sketching out the look and feel of the game while Hong set about building the game mechanics in Unity. I crafted assets and animations, Hong cut code.
With a shared enthusiasm for the project we churned through Trello cards and the game took shape remarkably quickly.
It was a fun and educational undertaking. Optimising assets, implementing leaderboards, device testing, beta testing, tweaking difficulty, creating store assets, navigating iOS and Android release processes. We chipped our way through it, learnt a lot in the process, and enjoyed the free-flow nature of a personal project.
